How to Make Delicious Cinnamon Cruffins
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin by spraying it lightly with nonstick spray.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface, ensuring to press and seal any perforations.
- Spread softened butter evenly across the surface of the dough.
- Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl, then sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from the short end into a log shape and cut it in half lengthwise.
- Twist each half of the log into a spiral shape and place them upright into the prepared muffin cups.
- Repeat this process with the remaining dough tubes until all 12 muffin slots are filled.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush the warm cruffins with melted butter and roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Notes
Serve warm, optionally with icing or powdered sugar for added sweetness.
