  • 1 pound Ground Beef can substitute with ground turkey
  • 2 cups Green Beans fresh or frozen
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup or cream of chicken
  • 1/2 cup Milk any type or broth for dairy-free
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder or diced onions
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper adjust to taste
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded, can substitute with low-fat or dairy-free
  • 1 cup French Fried Onions or crushed crackers/breadcrumbs

Method
 

How to Make Crispy Hamburger Green Bean Casserole
  1. Preheat Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no pink remains. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cooked beef with green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and transfer your mixture into it, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden brown.
  7. Add French fried onions on top and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until crispy.

Serve with a crisp green salad for a refreshing contrast.
