Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and black pepper. Heat over medium for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the Lil’ Smokies to the simmering sauce and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring gently to coat them evenly in the glaze.
- Place mini phyllo cups on a baking sheet, then fill each cup with Lil’ Smokies and a bit of the extra glaze.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the phyllo cups turn a lovely golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the glaze before serving.
