How to Make Irresistible Amazing Stuffed Hatch Chiles
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Place the Hatch chiles on a baking sheet and roast until their skins are blistered and slightly charred, about 20 minutes. Transfer to a covered bowl to steam.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground sausage or beef, and in the last couple of minutes, stir in minced garlic.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheese blend. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Peel the blistered skins from the chiles, make a slit down the side of each, and carefully stuff with the filling.
- Arrange the stuffed chiles in the prepared baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
Serve with sour cream and fresh cilantro for an extra touch. Optional: Top with diced avocado for a creamy twist.
